Saturday Mornings with Mr. Craig!
Mr. Craig Edwards travels from his studio in Bolivar to teach Taekwondo to SWAN kids with autism every Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. in the Mama Jean's Living Room Studio in Springfield on Campbell Street. We appreciate the ethic that Mr. Craig brings from his No Excuses, Inc. Non-Profit Organization. The mission of No Excuses, Inc., is to teach personal excellence in all aspects of life, whether that is in the classroom, community or family. They are founded on principles of building on the child’s unique personal strengths. They believe that by doing this, negative behaviors can begin to be minimized, and it will help allow these individuals to look forward to a positive future. No Excuses, Inc., believes this can be ccomplished through structured recreational activity, educational development, by applied strategies and methods, developing the skills of daily living. Most importantly, No Excuses, Inc., believes and promotes being personally accountable with NO EXCUSES!

Mr. Craig works wonderfully with the kids, positively praising and encouraging each one to do his or her best. He provides patient instruction as he teaches the various stances and moves of Taekwondo. The kids feel such a sense of accomplishment when they master a move, and are able to follow his instructions with ease and success. |
